Climate
Kenya boasts a varied climate thanks to its dramatic elevation changes, ranging from sea level to a staggering 5,100 meters. Despite its equatorial location, Kenya enjoys generally pleasant weather year-round with abundant sunshine. While daytime temperatures are warm, nights can be surprisingly cool.
Rainy Seasons
Long Rains (April-May): This period brings the most significant rainfall, ideal for refreshing the landscape.
Short Rains (October-November): Lighter showers occur during this time, settling dust and reviving vegetation.
Wildlife Migration
The wildebeest migration, a spectacular natural phenomenon, typically follows the long rains. From late July to October, these majestic animals travel from Tanzania to Kenya in search of fresh grazing grounds.
